1. Dissonance Part 9: Sorry that his part is taking longer than expected. I had planned to have it out days ago but I decided to change one aspect of the last two parts, which means rewriting a portion of the last half of part 9. I sent the first portion to the beta and was hoping to get the rest finished last night/today... but things happen.

2. I'm going to WW, an utterly unplanned detour seeing as I was just there. Unfortunately, the letter I mailed to my Dad came back *here* for some reason. He's pissed off saying I didn't send it right in the first place... when really I'm not sure why. I put two stamps on it and all it's just a cd and a check. Maybe it needed another stamp... but I didn't even put a cover on the cd.

3. Taking Pala again ONLY because last night she decided to be a monkey. I have a bunk bed, full size on the bottom and twin bed on the top. My aunt was moving at the same time I was going to move into this apartment and my nine year old cousin wanted a different bed. He's almost 13 now. So, I use the top for storage- boxes and such. Pala got up there last night and made a racket- then got into my closet because the door was left open 1/4 of an inch. Now I'm tired and need to drive 2 1/2 hours.

4. I have another interview Tuesday at 10:30 here.

5. This post is temp public so readers know whats up... it's been a week and I said three days.

6. I accidentally added 'rewritting' to my 'dictionary' in regards to spell check for my internet browser... anyone know how I can remove it?

A kind of tour of the campus. I left what I needed to have to work more on the new parts at my apartment- so I borrowed my Mom's camera and my Dad's loveable yellow lab Belle and drove over to the HS campus to take these photos. There are quite a few of them- and there were more that didn't turn out (first time using that camera and it was confusing). I hope you all enjoy. The next part of Dissonance should be up Sunday evening- even if I don't have the next part to the beta. I only have a few more scenes to work on for part seven anyway.

I wrote based off my memory so there will be some discrepancies between these pictures and the story. Just call it creative licensing or whatever.

Ok so here's the thing. I've been working on the art for the big bang fics I'm doing. Most of what I've done is on the computer. Only... I decided to mess around with some pastels... chalk pastels that I found in my big box of random art stuff. Which, normally wouldn't be that big of a deal because I do that on occasion. Problem was I started sketching without thinking.

So in concludion I have a picture I actually like (which is amazing). I'm not the best artist ever, but it's one of my better pictures (IMO)... problem is I wasn't thinking. Now I already have a few 'collage' type banners for this particular story so I'm not worried about not having art for it.. but still. I have no idea how I can scan this particular picture. 11"x15"... granted some is 'background' but still.

Did I mention that I don't actually have a scanner... well technically I do, I guess. My roommate left this huge printer in the closet that has a scanner. I may have to figure out if it actually works. He left a few cd's he said were supposed to go to it... but no idea if they actually do (he hasn't used it in two+years).

Next time I decide to be creative? Someone kick me and tell me to use my tablet or a sketch book.

Reading fanfic and people use 'may be' verses 'maybe'.

It may be this.

Maybe.

Maybe is an adverb: Maybe we can visit the king.
May be is an auxiliary verb + linking verb: We may be able to visit the King.

The adverb was derived from the verb phrase in the 15th century:

Maybe I'll see you later = It may be (that) I'll see you later.

Ok so

anyothergirl415 did this since someone on her flist did... and now I am too. Cause I'm putting off working on other stuff till later because I have nothing due to Thursday and applications for summer employment are just frustrating at the moment.

Basically list television series you have seen and write a brief note about why/why not people should write this. While anyothergirl415 said "All the way through" I'm going to state that these are episodes I've seen *most* of the episodes for. If I haven't seen an entire season then I'll mention it in my write up. Some of these I haven't seen for a long time so I can't remember if I missed a lot of or did see the entire series. I tried to include shows I've at least seen the pilot and the last (aired) episode, though. I won't say that I haven't missed an episode of though.

I didn't see route 666 of supernatural till after I'd seen most of season 3 because my roommate accidentally skipped it on the dvd... so things happen. And hey, for some of these I was a BABY.

Because I'm killing myself without it- I won't be including the dozens of anime series I've seen.

Hey everybody. Here's an Easter present for you!

I'ma do some Ramble fics this next week. If anyone has any short prompts they'd like me to do a ramble (drabble) to post a comment here. I'll do a flawless!verse to it ONLY if it fits into the big scheme and if it isn't already part of my former sncross fic. A sketch in time prompts are fine too.

I'll do at least up to ten. More than that will be a maybe. I'll do at least one a day till they're done. They'll be individual posts... I'll link to them in the comment.

The prompt I have given myself:
-Ruby, Salty French Fries (I swear this idea has been in my head since that Q was asked @ LAcon)

Most of my ramble fics go between 200 and 1k words. Crossovers work. Any show you know me to be familiar with works as does RPS. Any character and pairing BUT if it involves Ruby do NOT make it involve Sam/Ruby. I just don't like that.

Prompt me with the show and/or characters, and a few words or a phrase.

I'll take prompts till Monday at Midnight. I'll start posting replies anytime. I'll give myself a week to complete them. If I absolutely can't do your prompt I'll ask for a new one.

Side note... my house smells like bleach err comet. I'm cleaning the bathroom. I had to open all the windows and now I'm huddled in my bed because it's 40-odd degrees in here.

Also the new Ghost hunters was pretty good! At least, I liked it. They had two "new" devices, one to look at vibrations and an emf detector that relied on *sound* rather than lights.

Made me miss Dean's EMF from the airplane ep in s1... phantom traveler?

Babysitting three dogs, Bud and Belle, and my dad's friend's dog is staying for three weeks... Nelly is two and eats anything if you aren't careful. There is like no food here... I ended up making spaghetti for lunch and dug out some frozen meatballs and sweet potato wedges to cook with it. The only sauce they had was a spicy zesty flavor which I dumped some sugar, ginger, allspice, a bay leave, and a pinch of celery, garlic salts and some pepper. It tasted better than it was just the spicy zesty- trust me.

My mom totally thought I was strange for flavoring the water I put the noodles in. I even put some of the sauce into it. It really helps the flavors, seriously. She loved it though. Ha.

Need to go get pigeon feed before the food store closes.

Tv guide's worst couples... Sam/Ruby!

I have nothing against Gen as a person... but I really don't like her portrayal of Ruby.

I was going to write a short fic for V-day but I couldn't come up with it. Instead I'm going to post a flash back that was going to be on my Flawless!verse

sncross_bigbang fic but I decided I probably won't use it... kinda a deleted scene if you will.... if I do use any of it I'll have shortened it or split it up- plus the fic itself is going to be long enough that just over a thousand words repeated isn't an issue. I'm f-locking it just in case though.

Awesome episode! I enjoyed how it turned out... the boys are chin deep in denial and unresolved tension though.
