whenboymeetsboy. “Time travel isn’t logical, it’s just possible” is a phrase that is about to embody the lives of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. A young aristocrat from New York in 1852 finds himself in the year 2005 where the world has changed drastically. He finds himself on a journey of self discovery as he discoveries just how much the world has changed in the past 150 years.
Word Count: approx 27,100 words
Disclaimer: I’ve never been to New York, the Met, or been involved with advertising. I don’t own Jensen, Jared, Chad, Mike, or anyone else depicted in this story… even Otis belongs to himself.

First off I'd like to thank my Betaanyothergirl415 for her help in rounding out the fic and the encourgment she sent my way during the writing process. Without her comments I may not have managed to get through the fic before the deadline. Also I'd like to thank queenklu for the encourgment she sent my way when I first started this fic, it wouldn't have gotten past the first couple thousands of words without her support.
This is my first J2 fic, first true slash fic, and first fic longer than 2,000 words in almost five years. I did minimal research when working on this fic. I did rewatch Kate and Leopold to get my bearings before I started, and I used google to look up the MET and New York hostpitals. I apologize if I got anything wrong but I've never been to NYC. I also have no real knowledge of the advertising or modeling professions, so please suspend your belief.
The version of time travel I use is explained, sorta, in the fic with a few key phrases by Mike. It's not a perfect system and isn't meant to be. The movie didn't explain it very well and I didn't feel the need to go into depth on it either.
